Trump Tower Helicopter Lift Scheduled for This Weekend, December 13th and 14th

A helicopter lift is required in order to hoist six sections of antenna that will form the spire on the roof of the Trump International Hotel and Tower, located at 401 North Wabash Avenue. In order to ensure public safety during this operation, a full street closure will be implemented on Wabash Avenue, between Wacker Drive and Hubbard Street, between the hours of 8 am and 12 pm on Saturday and Sunday. This street closure will prohibit access to both vehicles and pedestrians, as well as prohibit on-street parking. Please be assured that City of Chicago police officers will be present to help direct traffic and maintain public safety in the affected areas.
