Aon to cut 2,700 jobs as part of restructuring

Wed, 31 Oct 2007 16:38:00 EST - (AP) -- Aon Corp. said Wednesday it will restructure its operations, including cutting 2,700 jobs, as part of a plan that will eventually result in savings of about $240 million a year.

Aon will record related pretax charges of about $360 million.
