Art program leader helps teens

September 4th, 2008 05:00 AM - Before the teens worked on a mural at Barrett Park in Pilsen, Vanessa Sanchez made sure they visited the neighborhood to get to know the people who live there and the issues they face. Before they did a mural for St. Anthony Hospital near Douglas Park, she made sure they went inside and learned about the hospital and the community it served.
