The Bears got slaughtered by the Lions in Soldier Field.
About the only positive thing I'd say about the event is that the jets that flew over just before the game were cool.
Also, tuning into Fox at Noon viewers were treated to a rendition of God Save the Queen which was the beginning of the first regular season game ever to be played in the UK... a bit disorienting for me flipping around the channels trying to find the Bears game. (It was on Fox actually, they were just showing the start of the UK game).
By the way, Greise did connect with receivers three times in the end zone - unfortunately they were Detroit Lions who caught the ball each time.
