For two self-proclaimed Bigfoot researchers, the mythical ape-like beast aka Sasquatch proves to be every bit as difficult to latch onto in the deep woods of southern Ohio as the American dream. Eccentric yokels who have little more to warm their hearts than alleged sightings of a creature with which they clearly identify, Dallas and Wayne might be sitting ducks for a lampooning, but filmmaker Delaney brings an empathetic eye to this chronicle of friendship, hard times, and his subjects' meager claims to fame and credibility, as he charts the activities of the small but dedicated cult around Bigfoot.
