I love this place!
A great big menu; 18 varieties of tortas (including a "create your own"), soups, salads and mexican specialties. Everything I've tasted is full of flavor and surprises. The pastries are expensive, but SO worth both the price and the calories. And beautiful to boot.
Laura Perea Cid (one of the principals), started at Frontera Grill, then opened her own place, a pastry shop in Pilsen. They've since expanded and now have a couple cafes (one of which is at 170 W. Washington).
