Boy's recovery a miracle after drinking kerosene

Wed, 20 Feb 2008 04:00 CST - John Dytrych, who will soon celebrate his 3rd birthday, is lucky to be alive after drinking kerosene from a lamp in his family's Palos Heights home. The boy spent 75 days in the hospital and is making steady improvement. Dr. Luis Torero, the director of pediatric intensive care at Hope Children's Hospital, said John has made a far more complete recovery than he had anticipated.
