 Canadian National urges final board decision
August 16th, 2008 05:00 AM - A company hoping to buy a nearly 200-mile railway line around Chicago is pressuring the Surface Transportation Board to approve the hotly debated $300 million sale. Canadian National Railway Co. requested the STB issue a final decision before Oct. 15 on the sale of the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway Co. in a filing announced Friday.
