 Charity bike trek a hot dog fest
September 12th, 2008 05:00 AM - Dozens, maybe even hundreds of cyclists. Nearly 18 miles. Nine hot dog joints. And a good cause. Saturday's "Bike the Dog" across the Northwest Side will be part "gastronomic cycling challenge," involving riding a circuit of hot dog stands, and part fund-raiser for a little girl with a yet-undiagnosed blood disorder.
