Thanks for pointing this out. Option #1 seems wonderful! My kids (15 mos and 3 yrs) love watching the boats, they wave and laugh.. Or if the riverfront is unavailable, maybe they can buy a parcel in the Lakeshore East development? But I have not heard of any restrictions on riverfront development, Friends of the River would probably welcome it as long as pedestrians can still get by.. Suburbanites would love it as they would actually be seeing Chicago instead of walls in an underground bunker (and being ferried back and forth on lower levels...) This would be a wonderful development for Chicago! Eric |

The Sun Times' Jack Higgins does a great cartoon that sums up the issues nicely... http://www.suntimes.com/news/higgins...allery?index=0

Watch WTTW's Chicago Tonight (THursday, 4/17 @ 7:00) for commentary on the fact that the Chicago Children's Museum is requesting a liquor license as part of their application for Grant Park.. WTTW - Chicago Tonight - Home

This should be interesting.. I want to hear facts. Is it just rhetoric from SGP and Reilly or really an issue in itself? Personally I'm concerned we're looking at another Park Grille type establishment in Grant Park. |
