 Christmas miracle for family Fintan's operation begins
4:00 AM, Dec 26, 2007 - Updated: The heart of a baby who died on Christmas Day was being transplanted
into the tiny body of Gina and Mark Schiltz’s 3-month-old son Fintan
this afternoon. “This is a generous gift for our family, a courageous gift,” Mark
Schiltz said as the operation got under way at Children’s Memorial
Hospital.
Schiltz said his family felt great sadness for the family who lost their little baby on Christmas.
