 Christmas miracle for family Heart found for baby Fintan
4:00 AM, Dec 26, 2007 - Baby Fintan is expected to receive a heart transplant today, a spokeswoman from Children’s Memorial Hospital says. It’s the Christmas miracle that his parents Gina and Mark Schiltz of St. Charles prayed for. The family was notified shortly before midnight that a heart was
available. They rushed to the hospital and, at 10 a.m. today, were
holding Fintan while he awaited surgery. “The heart is expected to arrive in two hours,” hospital spokeswoman Julie Pesch said.
