CME planning Gulf Coast crude oil futures

December 7th, 2011 12:00 PM - (Reuters) — CME Group Inc, whose flagship WTI oil contract has suffered from a surplus of supply this year, launched plans to create a new Gulf Coast crude contract as the rise of shale oil production drives a surge in coastal trading.
