Editorial: Reilly's right -- Daley's wrong
From the Chicago Tribune:
"Sure, critics could point to the City Hall corruption on his watch, the favors for clouted contributors, the cozy ties to people his administration's decisions had made wealthy. But the mayor always urged Chicagoans of all ethnicities to work as one. He didn't succumb to race-baiting. He had an achievement no one could tarnish.
"No one, of course, except Daley himself." Reilly's right -- Daley's wrong -- chicagotribune.com |
