Former Ald. Dorothy Tillman (3rd) was found guilty of misdemeanor criminal trespassing today, following a two-hour long bench trial in Montgomery, Ala. Montgomery Municipal Judge Les Hayes ordered Tillman to pay $541 in fines and costs and serve 10 days in county jail, though the jail sentence was suspended as long as she doesn’t commit any additional offenses. The criminal trespassing charge stems from an altercation with a hospital staff person over Tillman’s aunt’s medical records.
