Helicopter Lift for Lurie Building, 303 E. Superior Street -- Sunday May 10th

Please be advised that a helicopter will be hoisting materials to the roof of 303 E. Superior Street on Sunday, May 10th, 2009. The hours of operation will run from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

During this time period, a "full street closure" will be in effect for Superior Street, from Inner Lake Shore Drive to North Fairbanks Court; Huron Street, from North Fairbanks Court to North McClurg Court, and Chicago Avenue east of Fairbanks during the above mentioned time frames. This closure will prohibit vehicular traffic flow, as well as prohibit on-street parking, during this time frame.

However, City of Chicago police officers will be present to help direct pedestrian traffic and maintain public safety in the affected areas. These officers will also offer assistance to facilitate residential vehicular traffic in the impacted areas.
