Hello everyone and nice to meet you all. I signed up here to let notice I am in the process of starting my own business and I thought I can share how things go and keep everyone updated on the business from start to prosperity.

I am a PC guy so I am in the computer, hardware industry. I am in the progress of starting a long term business with computer consulting and pc repair. I will also be holding inventory with various types of PC brands such as Gateway, IBM, HP products. I will also be dealing with various types of printer's.

I am looking to post and record my venture on these forums. It was nice to meet you all and check the classified ads on the forums. I will be providing various deals and services.

I know a few hardware guys from the IT departments at companies I've been in try to strike out on their own, and only one guy was successsful - reselling stuff on eBay (although they all tried it).

There's another small company (tiny shop) that has a small retail space and big sign on Ogden I know that I used to use very successfully for several years when I was working for a small market research firm in Clarendon Hills.

IMHO, it can be tough work starting a consulting and PC Repair business but it can definitely be accomplished with lots of hard work and dedication.
