"Hello neighbors. We invite you to come and meet some of the amazing local art organizations in our neighborhood. There will be over 20 exhibitors offering special discounts to surrounding residents."

Linda Musgrave, the organizer of the event writes "I am on the Board of Directors at The Lancaster. Because we have many new residents from all over the world and new to Chicago, I wanted to introduce everyone to how great Chicago is and what they have to offer in the way of the arts. I started contacting organizations asking if they would participate in a "little" art fair to present themselves to The Lancaster residents. The idea caught on in a big way and now it is no longer little. It is a totally free event, there will be raffle prizes offered by surrounding organizations and companies. Need not be present to win. The purpose was to introduce the arts to the residents and to offer memberships on the spot, some will be discounted, to adjacent neighbors. In addition, I and the team, wanted to build a strong sense of community since we all will be sharing the park."
