 Lower Wacker Construction starts Monday Jan 3rd 1. On Monday, January 3, 2011, a 2-year reconstruction of the north-south portion of Lower Wacker will begin. For many of you that have become used to the short-cut around the downtown area using Lower Wacker to get to either the Kennedy (via Upper Randolph entrance) or the Congress Expressway, the project will not be completed until the end of 2012. Recently the Chicago Tribune had a good article and short video giving details of the project at Get ready, set: Wacker overhaul to start again - chicagotribune.com 2. We have heard nothing about the rescheduling of the next meeting of the North Grant Park project. 3.
