Moody's downgrades Walgreen rating

July 11th, 2008 05:01 PM - (AP) — Credit-ratings agency Moody's Investors Service on Friday cut drugstore operator Walgreen Co.'s long-term issuer rating due to expected slowing revenue growth and margin pressure.
Moody's cut the rating one notch to "A1," from "Aa3." Both ratings are investment grade.
