Please mark your calendars for the New Eastside Association of Residents (NEAR) meeting on Monday, February 22nd (Washington's Birthday) at 6:30 at the newly renovated 400 East Randolph 7th floor meeting room.
After an abbreviated "Annual Report" and elections, the remainder of the meeting will give our Illinois State Representative Will Burns an opportunity to share his solutions to the Illinois operating budget, long term debt, and ethics problems. We have a new wireless PA system, so questions from the audience can be heard by everyone. Written questions will also be welcomed.

As I was preparing the PowerPoint slides for the NEAR meeting (Monday the 22nd at 400 Randolph at 6:30), I found a PBS Frontline interview with our guest speaker, Illinois State Representative Will Burns.
