Please join your neighbors this evening at 6:30 at the Daley Fieldhouse (337 Randolph) for our New Eastside Association of Residents (NEAR) meeting.
Please try to arrive early so we can start at 6:30. Alderman Reilly will be first on the agenda, and he has to leave at 7pm for another meeting. Then I will give short updates on our many ongoing issues, plus report on 8 Freedom of Information requests and a new website link to live audio on local police radios. At 7:30 our Illinois Senator Kwame Raoul will arrive from another meeting, and report on options to solve the budget problems of Illinois. He also attended the Olympic bid presentations in Copenhagen, and will share his insight on the legacy of our Chicago 2016 bid effort.
