OfficeMax down in back-to-school shopping

August 25th, 2008 01:59 PM - (AP) — Shares of the country's largest office supply chains fell Monday after an analyst said shoppers were opting for lower-priced back-to-school gear.

Shares of OfficeMax Inc. fell 61 cents, or 5 percent, to close at $11.61 Monday. The stock had fallen as low as $11.57 during the day.
