 Parents of slain CPS students visit somber exhibit

The parents were solemn as they walked among empty chairs representing their murdered loved ones. Finding their child's chair, they stood, reflecting, bolstered by family members and friends. Sometimes there was a smile, a "Remember when. ..." It was opening day for the "Chairs Memorial" exhibit at the Field Museum last week, and several parents of slain Chicago Public Schools students showed up.
