Record Snowfall in Chicagoland Brings City to a Crawl

All along what we call "The Drive," (Lake Shore Drive), the sounds of silence filled the cold, blistery air. Not a single sign of life stirred. No movement. No cars. No snow plows. No dogs walking...Nothing. Ahhh, the sweet sounds of silence -- fantastic occurrence for a day in the midweek of February 2011.
