Lollapalooza 2007

Please come out and give us and Lollapalooza officials your input on Lollapalooza 2007 in Grant Park. This year's Lollapalooza will be: August 3-5, 2007. We want to hear from you to make this a better event and work to reduce concerns.

We have diligently negotiated many improvements from Lollapalooza for Grant Park. This year, the Court of Presidents, home of the Lincoln Statue, is being planted with over 100 new crab apple trees and next year there will be another 100 trees planted to restore this beautiful, historic area. Many of the old crab apple trees died or were blown over by storms. A reforestation of this magnitude has not been done in decades and is being done by the Chicago Park District and Grant Park Conservancy and Advisory Council working together. Hutchinson Field is also being restored of its almost 2000 historic lilac and crab apple trees. Solti Garden is being substantially funded by Lollapalooza in Grant Park.

Lollapalooza = treesapalooza helping to green up Chicago's front yard.

Thank you very much for your interest and participation.
