We went to eat at Lao Shanghai in Chinatown this weekend after an hour's Chinese class. We all know that Lao Shanghai, Lao Beijing and Lao Sichuan are all belong to the same owner. We used to go to Lao Sichuan a lot, but since their service is getting worse, we do not want to go there any more.

We have ordered Xiao Long Bao, it is very delicious, we ended up ordered another one. The crab meat with tofu is very good for kids, also the drunken fish with mushroom. All the kids are fed. We liked their service too, every table has a call button, Elizabeth kept on pushing on it, but they did show up each time:-) We took it away after she pushed twice.

The restaurant is located in the same area as Lao Sichuan. The price is reasonable. We have four adults and 3 young kids and spent $75 total.:laugh4:

We went to Lao Shanghai again this Saturday, just to go there for their Xiao Long Bao. We have ordered two of them this time. Again Both Elizabeth and Lydia like them. But we did have an accident, Meimei fell off her high chair, directly down and hit her back and her head on the floor. I was so scared and she was screaming for a long time, poor kid, it's all my fault as I saw her got up and within one second, she was down. Luckily she was OK, but we do have to be careful with the kids.
