I wrote to Arnold Randall as suggested - he wrote back:
"Thank you for your comments, however, no plan has yet been brought to City's Plan Commission for consideration. If that happens, then I and a number of other commissioners on that board would review the plan and hear testimony. We would then make a recommendation.
There are other approvals that would be necessary as well, including review by the Park District's Board of Commissioners (who haven't been presented with a plan yet either).
I am concerned that someone is circulating misinformation about this process and would like to reassure you that there is no single decision by me or any other individual that will determine whether this project will move forward or not.
I would ask you to share these facts with others who might be interested. Thank you.

anyway I don't think it hurts to bring it to their attention before the Children's Museum perverts the public view by misrepresenting us as they keep doing.
