The Daily Southtown in an editorial against the proposed tax increases gives credit to Reilly. While I haven't formed an opinion about the tax increases, it is good to see the Daily Southtown add a voice on the CCM's proposed land grab.

"... a fresher crop of dissenters arrived with the last election. We have seen evidence of that in regard to the proposed children's museum in Grant Park Daley wants, but freshman Ald. Brendan Reilly is fighting on behalf of his constituents.
"That's the spirit needed from the aldermen..."
I would add that in fact Brendan Reilly is fighting to preserve Grant Park for all Chicagoans!
