Children’s Museum digs in with redesign

Thu, 01 May 2008 16:56:00 EST - (Crain’s) — The Chicago Children’s Museum is expected to submit a new design Friday for its desired new home in Grant Park — the latest attempt to satisfy opponents of the move.

“They just have to play by the rules and the rules are clearly written in the Ward decisions,” said Richard Ward, president of the New Eastside Assn. of Residents. “Burying (the museum) underground only satisfies one of the requirements, not all of them. I want them to adhere to the five requirements in the Ward decisions.”
