A Trib piece that compares the three children's museums in our area.

Interesting that the kudos for the museums come from a professor at the Erikson Institute, the entity enlisted by the Chicago Children's Museum to help them revise their "Mission"....

The online article doesn't really do the layout in the print version justice...

the sections "Putting them though the preschooler test" and "There won't be a quiz on this" are both laid out in separate sidebars or boxes. Also, the print version contains several photos & graphics.

Nice article anyway, we've been to the CCM at Navy Pier many times, we should take our daughters to the other ones..

By the way, what are they mentioning about property values? Will property values in Lakeshore East and the high-rises along Randolph decline if the Children's Museum moves across the street in Grant Park?

They mention property values as that was the last of Daley's rants......after the ones on racism, ageism, classism and all his other isms..
