I ate at the Aria Restaurant (http://www.fairmont.com/FA/en/CDA/Home/Hotels/Facilities/CDRestaurantsOverview/0,1131,code%25255Ftype%253DREST%2526property%25255 Fseq%253D100114,00.html) at the Fairmont Hotel with my husband last night.. this blurb review from the Chicago Magazine (http://www.chicagomag.com) was pretty accurate for us --
"Dinners start with a basket of puffy naan, hot from a tandoori oven, then veer off in all directions. East Asian offerings ... are prominent .. An offbeat trio of potatoes (sweet, scalloped, and smoked) appears with every entree -- a luscious if somewhat incongruous freebie. The spuds go best with a terrific bone-in steak; not so well with the pad thai .. nothing beats the complimentary orange-hazelnut tuile cookies that show up at meal's end."
