"The 30th Annual Chicago Jazz Festival will take place at several venues within the 42nd Ward this year:
- Friday, August 29th: Eddie Palmieri will perform at the Petrillo Music Shell in Grant Park
- Saturday, August 30th: The Gerald Wilson Orchestra with special guest Kenny Burrell will perform at the Petrillo Music Shell
- Sunday, August 31st: Ornette Coleman will perform at the Petrillo Band Shell"
