Anyone remember the various reports of a UFO being spotted over O'Hare a while back?
We (here in the UK) had a few items in the news about it. The angle our media decided to put on it was that most witnesses decided they didn't see anything afterall, due to pressure from the airport authority and the airlines.
Anyone add to this?

I don't remember anything about it... maybe they wiped my memory clean!

Here's some info on Wikipedia..

Not sure of the FOIA filing ever got anywhere or if something will ever come out of it.

Thanks for that Eric, just logged-on to research it more myself.
I remember the Chicago incident as it was reported here in the UK media. They drew parallels between this incident and an extensively reported incident involving a British flight crew who spotted two UFO's stationary above the english channel.

I remember being quite surprised as the UK authorities seemed to take it all quite seriously and avoided the usual mocking/dismissive tone that usually accompanies these reports.
