New Years Eve Fireworks
The City of Chicago and Navy Pier will coordinate a joint effort for New Year's Eve Fireworks, Monday, December 31.
In merging efforts, the Mayor's Office of Special Events will provide funding for the Navy Pier pyrotechnic displays that occur at 7 p.m. for the Family Fireworks Show and the traditional Midnight Show, seen just off the south dock . Both performances will be created by the award-winning Melrose Pyrotechnics, which also produces the city's Independence Eve Fireworks display.
