Stingrays also died at firm's exhibit in Calif.

The deaths of 16 stingrays this week at a Brookfield Zoo hands-on exhibit followed an incident last year that killed more than a dozen of the creatures in Fresno, Calif. In both cases, the stingrays died when the water temperature in their pools rose to fatal levels. But the owner of the company that allows zoo-goers to touch the swimming stingrays said the circumstances were different.
