Man, it's going to be a long 10 years if Olympic organizers come into the city expecting us to throw fist fulls of money at whatever they think needs renovating, just to keep the Olympics.

The city spends money hosting the Olympics, but gains a lot in terms of prestige... and the public officials go to lots of parties and have excuses to throw money around. Anyway I appreciate people have different motivations, I'd like to see it come to Chicago because I've never been to the Olympics and I think it would be a lot of fun to see the events  |
