July 28th, 2008 05:00 AM - Most people would agree that text-messaging while driving is an accident waiting to happen. But people who text while walking have their share of mishaps, too. At Northwestern Memorial Hospital, which is just blocks from the Michigan Avenue shopping district, emergency room doctors see about one patient a day injured because they or someone else were walking and texting at the same time, said Dr. James Adams, the hospital's chair of emergency medicine.
