Wis. court favors Walgreens in tax case

July 8th, 2008 05:17 PM - (AP) — The Wisconsin Supreme Court says the city of Madison has been charging two Walgreens stores too much in property taxes.

The court says the city improperly valued the stores based on the rent that Walgreens is paying to lease the property rather than the fair market value.
