 Would you ride seat-free cars on the Brown line?
September 13th, 2008 05:00 AM - So the CTA isn't going to run seatless train cars after all. Just cars with fewer seats. The transit agency, which has seen an 8.3 percent increase in rail ridership this year, began testing reduced-seat cars Friday on the Brown Line -- cars designed to squeeze more people onto rush-hour trains.
