Wed, 24 Oct 2007 09:32:00 EST - (AP) -- Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. said Wednesday that third-quarter profit rose 11 percent on growth in Europe and Asia and because of a weak dollar.

Quarterly earnings rose to $164.5 million, or 59 cents per share, from $148 million, or 53 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter. Excluding costs ...
